STONEY CREEK Nugget RT
Let us go back a few years, when the adventuring really started to get interesting. We had purchased our Stoney Creek camper trailer in 2020, when it was just the 4 of us- Todd, Brooke, Greer and Steve. We had purchased this without knowing the family was going to expand. During the time of owning our Nugget RT, we kitted it out to suit OUR NEEDS.
If you have already looked at the specs for this camper trailer, then you will know it is designed for TWO people (IF you haven't and would like some further information, click here).
Back then, we found ourselves eager to get outdoors (stepping up from a car and tent set-up to a camper trailer and tent set-up) and wanted to take the opportunity to explore the areas surrounding us. When we purchased this, we were living in Southeast Queensland; thus, we did a lot of exploring throughout the surrounding hinterland areas. We quickly realised this little camper trailer was a weapon. So when it did come to implementing some basic customisations, we realised that we wanted to enhance the functionality it was already providing us.

CUSTOMISATIONS
Storage draws: We found that the storage draws on this camper weren't quite as practical as it could be. The seals make it tricky to function as the doors need to be fully opened for draw use. This forbids you from opening several draws at the same time. Example: The middle kicthen-side draw couldn't be pulled out whilst the fridge slide was out, without damaging the integrity of the rubber sealing. Thus, you had to really plan what you had to get from what space, and when. To eleviate this, Todd raised the draw between the kitchen and fridge slides and removed a draw completely on the other side.
